What a classic NFL game this should be today. I know I’m anxious to see how well Ryan Diem, Jake Scott, Jeff Saturday, Ryan Lija, Daniel Federkiel, Nick Kaczur, Steve Neal, Dan Koppen, Logan Mankins, Matt Light and the rest perform at the RCA Dome. Oh, had no one mentioned that there are others besides Peyton Manning and Tom Brady playing for the Colts and Patriots? If you’ve been watching the pre-game analysis this would be an easy mistake to make.
It seems for SB XLI ½ everyone has an opinion. And there is a cliché stating that "opinions are like a**holes (everyone has one)" so my apologies to any Siamese twins reading this while I now give mine.
If indeed it is simply Manning vs. Brady or even a seven-on-seven passing drill, this would be even closer. But in an eleven-on-eleven actual game of football, New England is slightly better. And for maybe the first time in this rivalry, the Patriots are the hungrier squad with something to prove. Ignoring the near unanimous notion that it will be a high scoring game…
New England 24
Indianapolis 20
And this year I’m watching on a special wide screen television, which will enable me to see Peyton Manning’s entire forehead.
